Economic Impact StudiesThe Center has conducted a number of Economic Impact Studies in central Alabama, including two impact studies for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, a study commissioned by the Business Committee for the Arts, an assessment of the NCAA Division II College Baseball Championship, and two economic feasibility studies in West Montgomery (one of which contributed to the creation of the West Montgomery Enterprise Zone). These studies focused on the direct and indirect financial contributions of target industries to the central Alabama economy, information that has proven very useful in public relations and fund raising.
